CARNIVAL IN INDIA.

We continue with the activities related to Indian´s project.

The students learnt about Indian Carnival. The conversation auxiliar gave students information about the Carnival festival in the Indian state of Goa ( parades, musicians, dancers, acrobats, costumes and masks). Then, the students made Ganesha masks in mixed groups and the conversation auxiliar helped them with it. The students were really excited about this new cultural activity related to Ganesha ( Ganesha is a God with a human body and an elephant head).

PEACE DAY.

This year we have a conversation auxiliar from India. So we started an Indian´s project in January to celebrate Peace Day.

Here, there are the following activities we did:

The conversation auxiliar did a power point about Ghandi and then the students tried to draw Ghandhi by following some instructions in a tutorial video. Finally, they prepared a short Ghandi´s biography on the radio and sang Imagine song by John Lennon.
