1st grade: " How many fingers do you have?"

4th grade: "Hockey Cockey"

EASTER 2013

The students coloured this mural which represents English and American culture during Easter. The Easter bunny carries coloured eggs in his basket to the homes of children.

Students in the bilingual section made Easter bunnies. They used cotton, cardboards and glue.

Students also learned the song " Have you seen the Easter Bunny"

PEACE DAY

Every year we celebrate Peace Day in the school. We prepare special activities related to this day, such as, colouring peace symbols, making doves, creating murals....

ROBINSON CRUSOE

The theatre company "Face to Face" came in January to perform the play "Robinson Crusoe". It is a modern version of the classic tale written by Daniel Defoe. It was very interactive and the students enjoyed it a lot.

CHRISTMAS 2012

The students made a Christmas mural. It represents a typical scene of Christmas in America.

  

Students in the bilingual sections made snowflakes , snowmen and Christmas trees.

 

Students learned "Last Christmas " song.

HALLOWEEN 2012

As actividades que fixeron os nenos e nenas en Halloween son as seguintes:

Un mural de Halloween.
Tamén trouxeron cabazas e follas do outono para decorar.

Aprenderon a canción "knock, knock treat or trick" e a representaron o día que se celebrou Halloween.

Nas seccións bilingues tamén se fixeron actividades: unha cadea de Halloween e uns pantasmas  cuns globos blancos.

Despedida de Philip

O mércores 30 de maio foi a despedida de Philip, o auxiliar de conversa. Realizáronse as seguintes actividades:
 - Un power point no que hai fotos dos mestres-as e de todo o alumnado do colexo.

Lectura dun poema e frases de despedida.

Lectura do libro:" Por que o fondo do río está cheo de pedras?" Esta lectura fíxose en galego e en inglés. Participou lendo Philip e a titora de sexto.
