THANKSGIVING 2019
Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November in United States. It is a very important day.
Thanksgiving dinner includes turkeys, mashed potatoes, yams, cramberry,pumkin pie, apple pie....
Parades and football game are some of the events enjoyed on the day.
Families watch the Macy´s Parade on TV since 1948 where they can watch giant balloons, marching bands walking through the streets of New York.
All the Primary students from first grade to sixth grade made Thanksgiving crafts with their teachers. We did all the activities together. The activities are the following ones:
- A turkey mural with fantastic and colourful feathers.
- A pumpkin pie using cards and coloured papers.
- A corn.
- A thankful tree where the students wrote about the things are thankful for.
