Christmas is the best season to do useful crafts to ornament the school. The students did the following activities:
1-Christmas balls.: the students use scissors and glue to create marvellous christmas balls. We usse them to decorate the Christmas tree.
2-The students did wrapped Christmas tree: they cut out triangles of cardboard, then they started wrapping the yarn all around the triangle. After this, they glued ornaments on the tree.
It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. Families and friends get together for a meal which includes a roast turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce gravy and pumpkin pie.
Tic tac toe is one of the most classic and popular games in the world.
The students took stones and they painted the surface and with a black paint marker drew the outline of a ghost or a pumpkin. They brought a bag and they drew a playing field in the center of the fabric with markers. After this, they played and enjoyed a lot.
The conversation auxiliar, we have this year, is from Texas. She did a power-point and she explained all about Texas. The culture of Texas is considered one of the major cultures influencing the greater American culture.
The students learned that Rodeo is the official sport of Texas. They learned about cowboy culture and Texas symbols.
They sang a song:
"Deep in the heart of Texas". It is an American popular song about Texas.

They colored a cowboy with the typical hat and band.
They decorated cowboy boots with many different things. The students were very creative. They did a great job.
Texas flag.
The students had pieces of construction paper and glue them in the correct spot. They also used cotton.
Each color of Texas flag has special meaning. The white represents purity, the blue stands for thevirtue of loyalty and the red symbolizes bravery.
Bluebonnets.
The students created some delightful fingerprint bluebonnets. Painting with fingers allows for greater control than a brush.
The bluebonnet was designated the state flower of Texas in 1901. Bluebonnets grow across Texas.
